Located right in Allendale is the historic fire station museum that served the area for over 100 years. It has been converted into a museum to preserve the lengthy history, while also giving residents something to enjoy. They are open to the public Saturdays from 11-3, or by appointment. Discover all of the unique features Engine House No. 5 Museum has to offer. Such as uniforms, helmets and engines that all date back to the 1800’s. Entry to the museum is $5 for adults and $3 for children 12 and under.
Support local businesses and swing by the farmer’s market located right on Grand Valley State University’s campus. From June to October, the campus opens up to the vendors on Wednesday’s from 10 to 1:30 p.m. Find everything you could be looking for from local vendors like Post Farms fresh produce, tasty Daddy’s Dough cookies, fresh berries from Lindberg’s Blueberries and much more. Or, if you’re just looking for a healthy lunch, a fresh dish is served every week from a local vendor.

Become a member and enjoy all the perks of the course or just swing by for 9 holes all around $23 a person.
